I caught Eric Clapton’s Crossroads concert on public television this week. The highlight of the show, I think, was the performance by Jeff Beck and the amazing 21-year old bass player Tal Wilkenfeld. She really cooks and drives the groove. Here for your listening pleasure are Resolution, ‘Cause We’ve Ended as Lovers/Stratus, Big Block, Angel (Footsteps), Led Boots and a spectacular finale of A Day in the Life.

I haven’t looked at this post in a while and I found that the original links were taken down. I have found working video links and replaced them. Enjoy this awesome performance!

Amazing what Tal has reached in 5 years on bass! Remember she is 22 in this photo and started with bass guitar when she was 17!!
