An Oldie But a Goodie…

July 1, 2006

While surfing around the net this weekend, I came across this radio news piece I wrote for Free Speech Radio News in December 2002. It is about the $50,000 fine the Bush administration laid on some peace activists that carried pencils, aspirin and medical texts to Iraqi civilians before the war. My story begins right in the middle of the broadcast, but I encourage you to listen to the whole show. Interestingly, there is a story about the Bush White House claiming (four months before the war began) that they know Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction.
